Jonathan Falwell is in his fifth year as Senior Pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church. In addition to leading the 20,000-member church and 250 staff members, Pastor Jonathan is the primary teacher at TRBC’s Sunday morning worship services. Pastor Jonathan also serves as the Executive Vice-President of Spiritual Affairs at Liberty University. Prior to being named Senior Pastor, he worked closely with his dad, Dr. Jerry Falwell, in the daily leadership of the church and its related ministries.
Pastor Jonathan is a published author and writes the weekly Falwell Confidential. He and his wife, Shari, have four children; Jonathan Jr., Jessica, Natalie and Nicholas.
Pastor Scott moved to Lynchburg, Va when he was a young boy and grew up in Thomas Road Baptist Church. He attended Liberty University and was called to full time ministry during his Sophomore year of college. He has been in ministry since graduation in 1995.
He served as a Student Pastor for 14 years. He has worked with pre-teens; middle school students, high school students and college aged students. He has worked in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, as well as in churches near Richmond, VA. and Raleigh, NC.
In early 2009, while serving in North Carolina, TRBC made the decision to go multi-site. They were ready to take what God was doing for TRBC and move beyond the city walls of Lynchburg. Pastor Jonathan and the leadership team invited Scott and his wife Tammy to join the team and lead the campus in Danville. After much prayer and discussion, Scott, Tammy and their two boys (Hunter and Kaden) joined the TRBC team. In June of 2009 they moved to Danville and started planning and preparing for the new work that God wanted to do through Thomas Road Ministries in the Southside region.
There is nothing Scott enjoys more than seeing lives and families transformed by the power of God. There is nothing that gets him more excited than to see someone fully embrace all that God is and all that God can do through one individual person.
Andrew Segre was called to full-time ministry almost a decade ago. He serves with our family ministries (kids and students) and works with our community outreach. Andrew and his wife, Anna, have one daughter, Makaiah.
Andrew’s goal for life is to see people of all types of backgrounds see life lived to the FULL through Jesus Christ.
