Generosity changes lives—ours and the people we’re reaching.

At DRC, taking action on your generosity is simple.

Giving in a new way at DRC

We have an important update regarding online giving at Dan River Church, and we need your help!

Your generosity and financial partnership with Dan River Church is immensely appreciated. You currently have scheduled giving set up in our old online giving system through Fellowship One. We are transitioning to a new online giving platform called Pushpay.

Our goal is to complete this process within the month, so we need your help to move your current online giving to the new system. It’s a simple, two-step process that will take no more than ten minutes.

Why are we changing?

So, why are we moving to PushPay? The DRC staff and volunteer leadership have been asking for a new giving platform for some time. After careful consideration, we have chosen to go with Pushpay. Not only does PushPay provide us a simple online platform and mobile options, it makes it easier for you to give and track your giving.
Do I have to switch to PushPay?

Yes. We want to be good stewards of the financial gifts and offerings of our congregation, and paying for two giving platforms is unnecessary. Pushpay will be the only giving platform for DanRiver Church as of September 1, 2017.

Is PushPay safe?

Yes. Credit card details are tokenized and are stored off your device on industrial grade servers where this information is then encrypted. The security setup we have used is the same as many banks and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. For this reason, Pushpay is considered significantly more secure than many current offerings.

Should I use ACH (Bank Account) giving?

Yes! Credit cards cost us about 2 to 2.5% for each transaction, and that adds up to hundreds of dollars each month! Setting up a direct withdrawal from your bank account using ACH gives you the peace of mind that the vast majority of your gift is going directly to DRC.

What do I do if I have issues?

If you have any questions, please see anyone on our leadership team or call 434-239-9281 and ask for the ITS helpdesk.
