Luke 2:11-14 – The Savior yes, the Messiah, the Lord has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! 12And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” 13Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others the armies of heaven praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” 

Isaiah 9:6-7a – For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7His government and its peace will never end. 

John 14:27 – “I am leaving you with a gift peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. 

THE CHAOS OF CHRISTMAS:

Romans 5:1,8 – Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 – For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long… So, we don’t look at the troubles we can see now, rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
