Just because you can’t rewrite your past doesn’t mean you have to repeat it. If you want to move beyond your past, receive God's forgiveness and remember that your past does not define or disqualify you. Develop godly friendships because new habits do not happen without new relationships. And change your focus: Keep your eyes on Jesus and eternity.
