Our school bus drivers are such a blessing to our city! We want to show them a little of our appreciation at our annual Bus Driver Breakfast on Tuesday, October 21, at 8:30 am. We need volunteers to help set up, cook, serve, and clean up. 

At DRC Kids, we are passionate about helping children—from birth through 5th grade—discover the love of God and grow in their faith. Our ministry environments are age-appropriate, engaging, and built around the belief that now is the perfect time to begin discipling young hearts.

Pre-School Ministry
Our Pre-School Ministry serves children from infancy until kindergarten. The nursery welcomes infants and toddlers ages 0–30 months, while our Pre-K environment is designed for children 2½ years until kindergarten.

Elementary Ministry
Our Elementary Ministry walks alongside children ages 5–10 (K–5th grade), guiding them to love God and grow as Christ followers. 

The Dan River Church Student Ministry exists to help students know God, own their faith and make their faith known to others. We love to have fun and we always want to be all about Jesus in everything that we do. Our volunteer leaders play a huge role in making sure that all are welcome, everyone gets connected to a group and everyone knows that they belong.

You can volunteer with us by joining our guest services team, leading a life group, or serving on our tech team or worship team in our Student Ministry area.

The DRC Worship Ministry encompasses three main areas of service: vocalist, instrumentalist, and seasonal choir.

We are looking for worship leaders…not just choir members who like to sing or instrumentalists who are skillful but people who are called and committed to serve God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Join the team that showcases the Gospel by creatively leveraging technology as we live stream our service every Sunday morning. We are looking for people hungry to learn about tech ministry!

We have volunteer opportunities available in sound, lighting, cameras, and ProPresenter. Training will be provided. 

The DRC Guest Services team cultivates an environment of hospitality for all who attend our services. Whether it is giving a friendly smile at a door, answering questions about our church at the Connect Center, or directing traffic in the parking lot, the Host Team is an essential component of helping people take their next steps in following Jesus.
