Scott Randlett
DRC Senior Pastor
Pastor Scott grew up in Lynchburg, VA and attended Liberty University. He was called into ministry during his second year of college. He and his wife, Tammy, have been married since 1998. They have two sons, Josiah and Kaden. Scott and Tammy served in student ministry in churches from Florida to North Carolina before God led them to start Dan River Church in the fall of 2009.
When not at work, you can probably find Scott playing or watching any number of sports. His favorite teams are the North Carolina Tarheels and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite movies are either sports-related (Hoosiers, Remember the Titans, Miracle) or action spy (Mission Impossible, National Treasure). You won’t find him eating many veggies, but you can certainly find him enjoying a good steak, a slice of pizza, or a donut.
His favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20 -- "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." The same God who performed miracles thousands of years ago is the same God today. What He did for the heroes of our faith, He can do for anyone. If you attend DRC, you will often hear Scott say, “If you’re not dead, God’s not done.”
